This is sooo true, the area you live is a MAJOR factor with humidity, the bator is another, fan or no fan another, size of bator yet another and on and and on and then we look at each egg we are hatching!! OMG does the madness and scenarios end! ha ha ha

Well then! Guess I was right..noises in the morning woke her up. It's not like it's a real noisy house around here..it's just my DH and myself, but me going in and out of the room probably helped wake her up. I went in to check before we left, and she was out. Not a blue. Chipmunk baby..they are cute too, and if it's really a girl, I want her..those blue eggs are purty!

you just dont see the old smokers with their nasal prongs in SoCal like you used to. I need to look in a place with more smokers

I have a coolerbator with a bunch of chicks fluffing up, I am neglecting beautiful baby chickies!
This morning I had two CCL out and almost all the CCL pipped, so time to see where we are at and what breed is next to start pipping!!

I just had to rescue my husband's chihuahua from the guinea flock...

I don't know why but they seem to have it out for her. I opened the door and the dog runs right in and there was the head guinea standing in the entrance way. She turned around and left as soon as the dog was in the house.

We clearly have too many guineas if they think they can go around beating up on dogs (even if she is a tiny one).
