Do you have any vitamins and or electrolytes? Sally posted a recipe for electrolytes earlier today...

yeah you need to keep it warm and get that chick eather some grow gel or save a chick fast or mix up some of your own

X2 X2. Brooder probably isn't the beat place for a weak chick.. Sorry you are going through this. Kids do the darndest things you know..

It happens. I have 4 kids... Don't you know we need 10 arms and eyes in the back of our heads...
Relax, the tension won't help you or the chick. Mix it up, give it a few drops every 10 - 15 min for the first hour at the least.

Ahh typos and smart phones

My auto correct changed my wife to insatiable, her aunt to nuisance and our toxic neighbor to rabies.

It has great insight

My friends and I no longer recall what I was TRYING to communicate when I sent a text message in which my iPhone's auto-correct feature changed one word to "spermicide."

I saw it happen and couldn't stop it as it swooshed away into history, after which I was laughing so hard I couldn't have fixed it if the keyboard buttons were the size of quarters.

Oh no... I now have 2 pips but after close inspection, they pipped opposite of the aircell. :-/ Am I going to need to help them or do you think they will be fine? Never had this happen before.

I took her out of there. All she wanted to do was go in the middle of the pile of sleepy chicks and warm up. They were all actually crowding around her making little purring &tiny cheeping sounds.

Gotcha. Will do. I know they boys meant well. They probably innocently put her in the wrong box. Luckily with the incubator running and the heat lamp the room she was in still stays 75 to 80 and she was on a fluffy towel so she didnt freeze.

That's good. It may take some time for it to drink on its own.. The electrolytes will help to stimulate it.

I would only give her the electrolytes every half an hr..and only a teensy tiny bit..I mean, a tiny drop for the first hr. Just two tiny drops at first..wait, for that gulp..it will come, she has to swallow. Then, in a half an hr..again, tiny drop, then, another after the gulp. After the first hr. if she seems to be doing better, give her a few drops. I usually don't make the electrolytes real strong either. She may just perk up enough to show that she is really interested in those drops of water. :)

Her attitude perked up a little after she realized she was getting good stuff and back to being warm but still weak of course.

You made it a little too late for the one drop then two... i gave her some and once she figured out that good stuff came from the scary dropper she was opening her mouth for another drop. once i gave her a few drops of that I gave her some regular water cause i didnt know if i could give her too many of the electrolytes. Can I give her too much of that or should I let her drink what she wants out of the dropper?

Wow, it sounds like she is wanting to drink. Go ahead and see what she will take every half an hr. What did she do when you put her down? Was she keeping her head up and still making that swallow/gulp action?
