I would go ahead and candle (carefully, Adding warm water to the incubator afterwards) because that will let you know if they are okay and if you need to help. Listen to the eggs and you may hear little chirpings. If you can see the membrane, make sure it is still white and not tan/grey/brown.
If you see or hear activity and the membrane is still white, just sit right, they're taking their time.

I tell my fiancé that hatching eggs is the closest I ever want to get to childbirth lol it really is very emotional to watch those eggs hatch after 3 weeks of care and worry.

I was about to open the bater, and one just started zipping, so I am going to wait out another 2-3 hrs. Lets see!

BTW we also think my rooster and our RIR were stolen last night too! Can't find them anywhere! Can't even find feather or proof they died!
One of my laying pullet was stolen few months back but I live in Chicago and someone stole it from our front-yard. My kids literally cried for many days.

We have really yuppies behind our farm and really hate us for buying the property. They hate chickens, goats, and anything that is noisy! So I think its them. But i dont know why my RIR hen! She is my first hen I ever got!

I am finally reporting in. I had set 7 eggs, 2 hatched. (My eggs were set a couple days later that everyone else's)
I got a porcelain d'Uccle and 1 Barred Holland chick.
