Its so nerve racking. Worse than waiting for a sheep to lamb... Well

I got a few egg in the bator about to hatch to! Im so nervous!!!

Do broodys normally take a break while their eggs are pipped??? Granted she's been sitting there forever and has two toddler chicks climbing all over her... but I was just surprised to find her up.

Sweet!! I have heard they are really good! Morel mushrooms!! Those will make a great addition to a steak!! Mmmm sautéed in butter and moscotto wine, add some heavy creme and simmer for a few minutes!!!= awesomeness!!!

Did they not develop or did they make it to hatch and then die.
I have some to hatch this Saturday looking like they should hatch and some supposed to hatch next Wednesday and they look plume they should. ( all double air cells)

One died on about day 10 and the other died soon after.

If they make it to hatch, watch them carefully. One may have problems, like pipping into a vein and etc.
