We have storms, but usually they don't involve drowning if things go badly. You must be near a hurricane, since thats the only weather going on right now.

I'm 90 miles North of NYC, East side of the Hudson. Dutchess County, NY. Supposed to get some insane winds...Thank Goodness my coop and new run are secure... finally!

I'm glad to here that. Whats the ETA for you? We've been keeping an eye on this storm, one of my kids is studying it for school, and writing all about it. We'll mark you on our map too. We've got any BYC friends who are likely to be effected marked, so we can keep track of you, and increase prayers on your behalf as needed. (hope you don't mind, the kids to go to religious school, so thats kind of part of it)

I am in Dutchess County, NY if he wants to put it up on a map. ETA as of last night was supposed to be Monday morning. The weather this week has truly been strange, I haven't seen the sun for 5 days,, NO joke, it's just been this grey overcast sky. It did break through for about a minute the other day, right onto me while I was cleaning the horse paddocks. I was thinking about my mother, I think she shone down from Heaven. Any way,,,

My son went to an all boys Catholic High School,, Had to keep his mind on his work! lol..

How old are your children? I have 4...21, 17, 15, and 11!

We only have two, but we wanted lots more. Still, like Elizabeth, praying for a miracle.

My children, daughters, age 6 and 12 both attend Sacred Hearth Catholic School in Kansas. (There are so many nobody will figure out where we are!) I also work there. What a pleasure to meet you, in a deeper way!

This and girls vs boys are where I made friends many months ago with my "Amigas" as we call ourselves. Glad to have found a new friend too. I will tell her your focused coordinates!

I hope the storm passes over, leaving all you know and love (and all the others too) unscathed.
