LOL, there used to be a game devoted to counting this way, but it died. I used to play it, but only when I had extra time.

Most Forums of every kind have a counting thread. Passes the time I can't exactly explain why it holds my interest, but it does. Take a break between reading threads. Only ours has a MAD MOD TWIST

Yes, it keeps it interesting. I just hate it when I come back to a low number. Then I always see the same mod, the one with the avatar of the red car and a guy.
