Okay guys My hatch of the cream legbars is almost over but I took what has hatched out of the bator into brooder. I hope I am right white spot on head = male ?
16 dark heads, 7 spotted heads If I counted them right. Not counting the other 5 in the Dickie Bator their not fuzzy yet...

these eggs are from my cuckoo marans/crested legbars... The chickens are cuckoo colored with yellow legs both hen and rooster. Only kept 3 2 pullets and a rooster.

Congrats on a great hatch!!! You got yourself a lot of pullets there.

Don't forget females can have small head spots also.

No not me. I don't even know if I would know how to put a video on youtube lol. Im not very electronic savvy.

Candled eggs earlier this week but couldn't see in them very well. I just left them all with the broodies. My two girls are working so hard together! I really hope they get some babies after all their hard work. I was glad to feel their crops were full when I lifted them to check for extra eggs today. At least I know they are getting a snack even if I don't see them do it.

I wish my CCL eggs would hatch out like that. So far I get roosters or the hens stop laying. my CCL hens lay very few eggs when the temps drop below 40. And the rooster ignores his rooster duty too in the cold. I'm going to set a dozen CCL eggs tomorrow. I'm really hoping they are not all roosters.

I have 49 CL in the incubator now. 37eggs on day 14 and another 12eggs on day 5.
