I have a similar one that I have used successfully several times. I'll try to remember to get a picture when I lock down. I used twisty ties to hold mine together in case I ever want to reconfigure (and never have). I use the wire out of the bottom to cover it because those little boogers use each other to climb over the top.the more i think about it...i shouldve set on the 15th instead of the 14th. all my eggs always hatch 1 to 2 days early. once ones out, they cant stop! LOL i go on lockdown tomorrow and im so excited! i have one egg i DID set the 15th...but its it ok to go on lockdown a day early? i cant wait to see how the hatch divider works...![]()
i picked up a chick a teacher hatched in an agri science class and she gave me food with it. it was the only chick that lived from shipped my pet chicken eggs. they were feeding her gamebird food until i got her..i think the chick food just prepares them better and makes their bones strong.Okay, I have a ton of chicken grower food, but no chick food. Must the chicks have chick starter food or could they just munch on the grower? If not I'll get some chick starter tomorrow![]()
haha! i dont want to take the wire out because mine is bent and morphed...LOL i sat on it once and kinda bent it...so now i have to tack it to my bator with thumb tacks because it wont bend back straight anymoreI have a similar one that I have used successfully several times.
