If you have both roosters in the same pen, font count the chicks as full blooded. That Olive Egver will be sneaking around with your hens. Its best to seperate Maranz and Olive Eggers into separate runs/pens.

I have Emu eggs on their way but not sure I will get them in time for the HAL! Sigh

Where exactly do you get Emu eggs and (if you don't mind me asking) how much are they? Also, do you have any idea if you are allowed to raise Emus in Minnesota?

Since everyone is talking about cooler bators I thought I would post mine. I learned how to build this from Sally Sunshines cabinet cooler incubator thread.

I have a cabinet style cooler bator, used it last year with ok results, it still needs a little tweaking to get better hatches. I also need to add more shelves.
