the bator is non stop these days. we need to build a couple more

Wow, I can't compete with that incubator but I want to join in.

I will be setting as many of my own eggs as I can fit in two incubators. Mostly Splash Orp roo X BA hens. Lots of pretty little blue chicks.

No one'll let my have anything bigger than a styrobator. They're afraid of what I could hatch.

it gets pretty crazy on hatch day. we hve to hatch in baskets to keep the breeds seperate.

There is something about hatching that I think is really addicting. Seriously, once the chick's are all safe and sound it's like OK, boring. More eggs now, MORE EGGS!!!

I can tell you how many eggs there are in the bator at any time but tuesday was the first time in a year that I knew exactly how many live birds I have.
