Hi Ace! Do you like your little Brinsea? I've only used mine once before and only had one chick hatch. But, that might have been because they were shipped eggs...I hope!

Have you hatched this mix before? I bet they're cute!

Love the Brinsea! I don't think I've ever had an egg that has made it to seven days not hatch. I probably get 5 to hatch per set. I think the quitters are related to nature versus the incubator.

Ugh I have 4 thermometers in the Farm Innovators 4200. The 2 that came with it are reading 93 and 104. The 2 I bought from the hardware store are reading 100 and 101. I'm thinking the one that came attached to the top is completely wrong at 93...

I haven't set mine yet, I'm hoping my neighbor who has tons of roos and hens can get me some eggs to add to my pitiful supply, but they're barely laying,

So far she's gotten 1!

Oh! I wish you were closer! I have lots of extra eggs from our three flocks! Buff Orpingtons, Marans, Barred Rocks... But I checked on Google and you are over 2 1/2 hours North of us.

wow...your temps are crazy! my FI 4200 temps are around 99-101.
I would trust the loose one it came with. your average of all of them is 99.5

I have a FI incubator. The built in thermometer is WAY off. I have seen repeated posts of the same complaint. Don't trust it. I only use inside thermometers and have good luck.

my air cells on 9 of my eggs are not too good...they are moving all over the egg!
what do I do when I set these?! the sat all day yesterday and a bit today. im setting these the 16th, since theyre seramas.
