It is just something fun the kids and I are doing. We joined the hatch-a-long, then I Incorporated "egg science" into our homeschooling curriculum to go along with the hatch. The Incubator Wars post has been a fun way to post updates of how the hatch is going. I am glad you enjoyed it.

Wow! That is awesome. No wonder you were a worn out Momma to 3. We homeschool too! Today, I am just as excited as my kids are that there is no school today. Kiddos are doing well but it has been a couple hard weeks of reminding them that they need to keep going. We have an amount of work that needs to be done daily. They don't have the option of just riding through their day. They have jobs/chores to do daily. REALLY, brushing ones teeth is NOT a chore but apparently they think it is. :/ Our hatches have not been as successful as I had hoped, but having chickens, guineas, and goats have really taught them a lot of responsibility. It was fun showing them the life inside the eggs for the first time. :) It was sad to realize that "helping" a chick hatch killed them. We are learning all the reasons why to do things the right way. :) I love reading your story of the incubator wars. It is simply, Awesome!

I'm LOVING Incubator Wars! Thanks for all the hard work and letting us all enjoy it! Better than TV, which I don't have anyway.

That's ten days right? I was thinking, I have a different rooster then hens so I'm going to have a lot of mixed birds and funny looking ones if they hatch.

I candled last night day 7. The results are 7 with deff development 6 maybes (to dark to see much ladycats marens) 3 with crazy air cells and seems like they started and quit and all 5 from my flock are for sure clears.
