Chicken math at its finest:
If it fits, I sets!!!

I'm sorry you have problems with your LG still air. At what level do you monitor your temperature 103 F?

That was the top of the bottom level of eggs. There are 9 stacked on top. I fiddled with it all day and finally made a BIG adjustment, got the temp to 99, and slowly brought it back to 101-102. I don't know how hot the eggs were; every time I saw a 103+ reading I cracked the lid. And I was checking pretty often.

I would like to join the 6th Annual Easter Hatch a long. I set 20 eggs - all chickens - on March 14th. I am especially excited for our Golden Laced Polish/Black Frizzle crosses. Of the eight of those candled today, seven looking good! The rest of the eggs are mixed Bantam/Frizzle crosses. Of the original 20, 16 remain after candling today. Looking forward to little cuddly balls of fluff this Easter!

Out of the 20 set 15 for sure growing, 3 unsure (cant see through the shells that great) and 2 that i think are empty but waiting to toss till day 10. Only day 7 now. I am so excited!!

Welcome and good luck with your hatch!

No, we are not updating the Total Set list based on candling and mishaps. Of course people are welcome to discuss what they find candling and how many they have left.

Thanks for the clarification. That is what I thought. :)

We are still having fun as the chicks are growing. :)
