Nope. I put I. A little splash or two in as I put the water on to boil. If you're pickling them it wouldn't matter anyway. I've pickle the before. Two parts water to 1 part vinegar I prefer the apple cider vinegar but the white makes prorated eggs. I use a clove of garlic ( or sometimes I put in already mince garlic) about a teaspoon, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 1/2 teaspoon dill seed. I just put tge spices in the bottom of the jar. I water bathed the jars for about 15 minutes or a little more if needed. This is per quart jar.

I don't pickle them...lol I love boiled eggs (actually I love boiled egg yolks) but I don't like them pickled. My father likes pickled eggs though. I'll have to try that for him.

Well my test hatch for bantams bombed but now my lf batch are popping out like there's no tomorrow. At least the bantams were fertile =) the next hatch should be awesome.

Rir started first, more still in bator with first couple barred rocks and lots of wobbly eggs to go =)

Check for that air sac..that's the best we can do for a while. I have some Marans, it's killing me. I can see some air sacs now, and I'm not too happy with them. A Couple are high up the side, and most are looking waaaay to light!

I had a light just for candling but do you think I can find it, nope. I wasn't going to hatch any more eggs but my DH talked me into buying a new bator. I will find that little bugger. Thanks

I did not fill it out---mostly I was concerned the word Octagon was spelled Octagan on one part, then the right way on the other, hope its not phishing for info.

The company that is running the contest is a Social Media company. It promotes businesses via facebook and etc. It the give away on Facebook?

Since it wants an email address for Brinsea to send email "promotions" it is likely that Brinsea hired them to get the contact information.
