Did not have any new signs of life with the 14 remaining eggs, so I am close to calling it. We had 28 eggs that made it to lock down, and hatched 13 successfully, and lost one during zipping. So a little less than 50%, which I am disappointed in. Cool chicks are a silver OE, as well as our on SFE that has a crooked toe on both feet. It was a lot of fun, and I appreciate every ones time that made this EHAL happen.

HELP!! I just looked at the Wheaten chick with the yolk sack out and it was trying to climb out again, and it looks like it has pushed the ENTIRE yolk sac out!!!

And he is still trying to get out... and OH NO!!! It just polked the sack with its toe and all the yolk is coming out! I guess this is the end for this little guy...

As a last resort you could try to push the sack back in.

I am worried about my BCM egg. It has been chirping for 24hours but no external pip. It is the only egg left to pip. 16 have hatched and two more piped. This is day 22. Do i need to help?

so here is the final chicken hatch number....started with 120...10 didnt make it to lockdown...and hatched 88 out of 110....which is an 80 percent hatch...thats including the eggs that were shipped to me....so really a good turn out....already collecting to put another 60 in since the incubator is empty...and have the family saying no way...you have to stop...i said...whats the point of having an incubator then...hahaha...still cant believe there is 88...thats so cool...well hope everyones easter was great....i didnt see any bunnies but i sure seen alot of birds...

I have one egg not hatching.  We candled it yesterday and it was still moving.  Not good enough at candling to know if there was an internal pip or not.  No external pip yet.  How long do I wait?  Saturday was day 21.  4 hatched on Saturday, then 4 more on Sunday before we got up (some still wet when we got up).  We are really hoping this last little guy makes it.  It did get chilled when we removed the 8 hatchers and then candled it.  Suggestions?

Give it more time. I still have some hatching today that were due Saturday.
