She is very talented, those are amazing!
Call ducks are adorable
Any tips on getting the older eggs to hatch? Seven days is the most I've ever been able to get
Those are beautiful!
Ooh, calls! I'm a new ducky addict, and don't have any right now but can't wait to get some. e
12 hour hatch window for the projects and legbar, best window yet! Only one egg early DIS I pulled...
serama are doing nothing,
I think I screwed up by setting them in three days instead of two cause I am dumb and forgetful
probably gonna drown cause of the high humidity. but time will tell!
I FOUND A BIG NO NO in hatching, This was the first time I pulled empty shells out early. first time EVER!
I had a trampled chick and it looks like they pulled his umbilical strings at hatch, he must have bled
and they just had a pecking field day on him after that. Had the shells been in there,
it probably would have given him some space to hatch and dry up because he would have been surrounded
by empty shells and in some "cover" he is actually in this image, I didnt see him until I checked the serama.
early AM all pipped at the same time basically
Beautiful! Its raining right now instead of snowing. This is one crazy winter.
Those are awesome! I love the different breeds on the last one.
Awesome! Can't wait to see little ducklings on Easter!
I'm sorry to hear that.
I know it can lower the humidity, but I usually remove chicks as soon as they hatch and hold them until they dry, otherwise they just cheep and cheep for their mother and I feel so bad for them. I guess that's my mommy instinct though, because the sound of animals calling for help wins me over every time (even when its our cat asking to eat for the second time in an hour).
Those are absolutely gorgeous!!!
Wow, that's awesome Sally ~ great hatch
Absolutely love the 3rd one.
