I did hear what they sound like at a poultry show, they were quite loud for their size

I meant like a squeeky-toy in tone, not volume

But that might have just been the one I heard.

Hi all! I'm getting ducklings the after Easter for the first time, but following the thread for fun. I just have to say, looks to me like the Captain Morgan of Chicks to me. Edit: Oops it's not quoting the chick pic. You all know what I mean

I plan to hatch on Good Friday, it works out better for me, being able to give the chicks away the day before Easter to people with small flocks around her. I admit I did not read all 12 pages.

Is that ok to aim for Friday and be in, or not?

We are planning on greatly expanding our laying flock this year, AND I just might have scored a new (to me) Brinsea Ova-Easy Cabinet incubator for half price on Craigslist...

Staggered hatching here I come!

I'm in! I was stalking this hatch along last year but now I can finally join! I'll be setting EE and Backyard mixes. I don't know how many yet, it all depends on my hens...

Don't know if I'll set eggs, but I'll follow along at least.
