This is amazing advice!! I JUST bought heated waterers for the chickens...BUT I've only got so many outlets, I'm running heated waterers for the rabbits off the same place and all I've got is one 30 amp fuse. Thank you for this suggestion!!

I can't claim it as my own. Someone of Facebook posted it using a picture of a big water tub like I use for my sheep with about 6 of the soda bottles in it. So I thought I would give it a try on the chicken waterers.

Here are three of Bubba's babies..the rooster I had to place. The white is from a leghorn hen, and the reds are from a RSL hen. Dad is a RIR..very pretty boy. Wish I could have kept him.
I should have some nice layers by the late spring. I have more in the bator developing..pure RIR's! And more from the RSL hen.

Hi just thought i would post a couple photos of our newest paddocks almost done. All the walls open on all sides for air flow during the day with open runs

Those are some awesome pens and awesome chickens! Lucky you that you don't have any snow, my chickens would all be hiding inside.

My hatch is officially over. All 17 eggs hatched and now I have 17 beautiful, new BCM babies!

I had to put down one of my sweet old ewes yesterday. Losing a pet/livestock sucks. In your case it didn't have to be so...and that's much worse.

Hoping to order some Red Golden Pheasant eggs to hatch just hope they are here for the easter hatch along

I always love hatching my own eggs. I actually have a great-great-grandma, her grand-daughter, her great-grand-daughter and her great-great-grand-daughter all living in the same barn!
