Here is a little bit of my Florida (early) spring for you guys... my azaleas have already started blooming.

Here is the only bee picture I have, and it feels like cheating since the bee wasn't doing much of anything

Interesting idea. I'll have to collect some perhaps. A few of the nests they've made themselves use gum leaves

Run a controlled test first. While I think they would repel the insects just fine you need to make sure they don't cause respiratory problems. I have to watch it in a craft store near the dried flower section because dried eucalyptus makes my asthma activate. Now I am fine with breathing the vapor form eucalyptus salts and fresh eucalyptus doesn't seem to bother me just the dried.

He is glorious.  I have the Sweetgrass turkeys.   My male hates me  we fight everyday..  He is a excellent yard dog  NO trespassers at with him in the yard

Thank you! Adam knows that I'm the boss and just gives me my space. He's still under a year old though so we'll see if he stays nice.

Gotta have duckies... so much smarter and bigger personalities... although, that can cause problems sometimes... taught them to come when I call, and called 1 group and they all broke outta their brooders en masse... I swear it was Attica all over again...

Good.. Been busy with my first hatch.


Must have been fun to watch! When I had ducks, they'd come scramblin when I said "here, chook chook chooks!" They knew first ones there got the leftover pancakes, and the rest got the broccoli stems...

Thanks to you... I now have "duck coop" on my to-do list...

Pekins should be easy, never hatched them... only Calls and some Rouen/Mallard crosses...

I'm actually only 45 hours and 48 minutes in- But I have been in high reaserch mode for nearly a month.

Just what I wanted to hear about coops... I'm thinkin of tryin Sally's pallet coop. Seems nice and easy.
