From my understanding, which is just beginning with breeding Ameraucanas, unless the color variety is listed under the Ameraucana, it is considered an Easter egger. Some of the most beautiful colored birds and eggs I've seen are from Easter eggers.

Maybe if they're an official project color, it's a different story, but I don't know. Like I said, I'm a beginner

How do you 'make' splashes ?

Here are Isbar chicks I hatched last week that follow the BBS rule. The rooster was blue, the hens are blue and splash. I got 2 black, 1 blue and 1 splash.
Now I have a splash rooster in with blue and splash hens, so I will get 100% splash from that hen and rooster combo and the blue X splash should be 5050.

In all seriousness do either of you have eggs that could get to me by the set date? I ended up with two cockerels and only one pullet from a shipment of assorted live chicks.
