They are both some kind if penciled patterned. He's trying to get aggressive since it's turning spring around here.

If it is the green egg layers that you're wanting and you have EE's or Ameraucanas and Naked Necks you have the recipe for them. I'll have to wait and see if I get anymore green egg layers.

The hen has layed her first egg since like October.

I have a few of that mix. I call them my "Easter orps". Excellent layers of huge (average 67g) green eggs when they aren't broody. Mine have been good mothers too. Each of mine hatched and raised chicks last year. Two of them hatched and raised chicks twice.
I had never heard of sweetest day until worked for hallmark a few years ago. It's not really a thing here. I had one store that got in about 2 cards for it. I had to ask my boss what it was. Apparently it's a Great Lakes regional thing.

That's awesome lol. "Easter Orps" How do they look? I think she may have layed her first egg today! Here's to hoping!

Each day of the year is counted. January 1 is 001, December 31 is 365.

This year there is an extra day so Dec. 31 will be 366.

Produce has this packed by date system on it too.

http://www.fs.fed.us/fire/partners/fepp/julian-calendar.pdf

Today is 053. If the julian date on the eggs is 045, then you can subtract to get how old the eggs are. 53-45=8 days old.

My science teacher is obsessed with Star Wars, this is called the Star Date with her, it's the only date we are allowed to write on our papers.
