I'm top bid for the orust chicken eggs right now. Hundred and ten my old lady's gonna kill me. But after I found out about this breed I have to have them.

They are beautiful birds and I once considered getting some, and actually may someday. But do you know what you are in for? From my understanding, the Orust cocks are MEAN! They don't play well with others.

Just though I would let you know so you can plan appropriately.

Ya there very exotic. I never even heard of them till yesterday. From what I read they lay a medium to large egg fairly good layers.

You'll also want to have lots of separate brooder space as I hear the cockerels start fighting at a rather young age.

So first chance I get I'm gonna "try" to catch up.

I was looking up where my Vorwerks originated from and I came across these two videos.

All I can say is WOW!!! Just WOW!!! I just had to share.

I hope the video link above works. It's about ducks. I wish I could understand what the gentleman is explaining in the video. It's just amazing how the ducks are handled. WOW!!
