The 7th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-A-Long!

The Show Girl Silkie..sounds like that's what you got from that guy.  You say white NN.. silkie..that's a Show Girl.  NN's from silkies are SG's.  I've had some that come smooth, so not fluffy like a silkie, but little like a silke.  I still call that a SG.

Thanks
I remembered in my state of half sleep last night. Lol

I guess I was not clear but is it to late to put me on the Easter hol list because I did set 8 eggs yesterday if not that's fine I'm still going to hatch them? :D :D

Set 42 eggs tonight (3/5) at 11:11pm CST!

6 Ameraucauna eggs shipped from sahwithchicks
6 exchequer, 6 marans, 6 Ameraucauna from a last minute local source and 16 random barnyard mixes from our flock (includes barred rock rooster over Easter egger, barred rock, black jersey giant and black sex link)

We were able to fill the bator, thankfully! Now fingers crossed things go well!!!

I truly could not do it without their fantastic help!
I set 17 chicken eggs

Hi Lozuufy how's Ratty? Are you the one that had the pigeon hatch for the NY Hal?

As for the emu dinosaur Google how scientists are bringing back the dinosaurs using the humble chicken. Emu are mentioned as well as Silkies. Now I know not everything on line is true but just that the thought is there is scary.

Ratty didn't make it

I think he got too cold so it stunted his growth and he never recovered.

Does anyone know where to get a fan for an incubator? Without having to order one online and wait? I already looked up Tractor Supply inventory and didn't see one sold separate...I'd just feel better about the bator from the attic if it at least had a fan
