Quote: If you end up having trouble later because of really high ambient humidity (not sure where you live), I've heard that you can put a small container of uncooked rice to help drop the humidity some.

I got several of this one to put together for double-wide MHPs - price is right, and it has all the requirements (no auto-off features, comes back on after power out). $10.99.

Eggs didn't arrive today and the latest update is still from Friday. What do I do? I already called USPS and they said they'd give me a call in a day or two. What other steps should I take?

What do I do if I won't be home when my shipped eggs arrive or what if I'm not home when they arrive and don't get back for awhile :idunno

Have friend or family watch for them and bring them inside.

to all of you that have over 100 eggs in your bator. I don't know how you brood so many chicks!

In my case, I won't be "hatching" anywhere close to what I'm setting. My eggs are collected from Feb 5th until now.
I'm doing something different from y'all...lol!

Plus this is the "test hatch" for the new incubator I just built. (I might be lucky if I hatch anything from it)

Go big or go home??

I do agree with you about all those who "do" hatch and brood that many.
