Lots of peeping coming from the incubator, but no ducklings yet? How am I supposed to sleep now???

You don't. In my experience, now what happens is you drag a blanket and a pillow to the kitchen and lay there on the floor next to the incubator pretending to sleep, but in reality, you are straining your ears for the slightest crack or peep......

Never give up... I wanted baby ducks from my pet ducks, so I bought an incubator. After reading EVERYTHING there is on incubating, tried a batch of eggs. None hatched. So I tried again. None hatched. I kept trying and trying, and was about to give up when I discovered my incubator was a faulty one. I got a new one from Brinsea, the mini Eco II, and I finally got my 3 little angels. It took me almost 6 month's of trying, and trying, and trying, and I finally reached my goal. The moral of this story is to never give up until you've reached your goal. It will make you more confident in life, you'll be proud of yourself, and, you'll have beautiful babies to cherish and love

The incubator is on my dresser next to the bed. I'm waking hubby up every time I hear a peep and jump up with my iPhone flashlight.

I know how you feel lol. My ducklings hatched 4 days ago, and I had to go to sleep with all of that peeping and tapping. It really is hard. What stage are they at? Internal pip? External pip? Unzipping? Is this your first hatch? Here's pictures of my ducklings to hold you over until yours arrive.

Also, what breed are yours? I'm so excited for you!!

Seeing all y'all's chicks makes me so happy! I have a backyard mix and porcelain d'uccles hatching tomorrow. We just hit day 19 and it's my first hatch ever!!!!!

It's my first duckling hatch. Eleven Pekin eggs. Today was day 26 and I already have two external pips!
