The 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!

I'm joining in this year! I'll be hatching some Chanteclers (and possibly some mixed flock since I've got a barred rock that thinks she's a chantie).

So my incubator is running, waiting for tomorrow, I have had trouble with the humidity, trying to get it to the ideal 55%, I have gotten it to 56%. Is close enough?

In my opinion and experience, 55% is way to high for duck eggs... ideally I aim for 30% which just means I don't add water until first pip...

Talking duck eggs? I'm not one to suggest on that one. Thought it was on chickens. :p Ravyn...Ravyn...Ravyn... :)
