Can I start incubating an egg laid that day? I'd like to know since if I can I will be able to have 16 eggs in the bator...

Just read the first page...so we have over a month before we set...correct?

Somehow Valentine's snuck up on me...I'm still in January apparently.

I don't want to miss the set date...lol.

I will be setting this year!!!!! I plan to set barnyard mutts from my mixed flock and maybe some frizzle cochin bantams from my frizzle pen.

Valentine's snuck up on me also! Wow! Run to town, what the heck! They're putting out Easter stuff..Where's the heart stuff!!
I need hearts not eggs!!
Found just enough I guess, DW and five kids still love me, shwewwhh...

I just set a dozen pekin/blue swedish cross duck eggs and will be adding 2.5 dozen brown, cream, and olive eggs from my flock in a week. They will hatch just in time for me to set for this hatch-a-long!!!

I will be setting some Marans from my own hens as well as others . Not sure how many as of right now.
