I'm like 8 hours in from when I saw the initial pip and this chick is just not making much progress. It was chirping a few minutes ago and every once in a while it pushes a flap of shell open with it's beak, but this is slooooooow going. At least I'm home from work now so I can obsess while I stare at it, instead of obsess and try to pretend I'm busy at work!

They can take an torturously long time to hatch, often if they pip in the morning they should hatch late that night/the next morning.
