Thank you! I think he or she may have curled toes, but I won't know til it's out of the bator. We are not quite fluffed yet. I have low hopes for the other egg hatching as we don't even have a pip yet, but I'll keep it in the bator for a day or two. I made arrangements to pick up another chick tomorrow so my new little baby isn't all alone in the brooder.

I don't think so..... It could be.

The chick came out of the egg with one leg stretched behind it and seems unable to pull the leg under its body. Maybe a slipped tendon, but I'm more worried it grew incorrectly due to improper temperatures.

ETA: I looked at the chick and his leg is under him properly. His toes are curled, but other than that it seems fine! Yay!

I like these! Was thinking of calling her Blizzard cause right after she hatched we had the big snowstorm. Will keep these names in mind for future babies though, there's a pair sitting on a couple eggs right now.
