I have one hatchling. I'm getting another chick tomorrow, but this poor little thing chirps insanely if I put it down.

I had the same problem with the first one last night it came earlier than all the others so it was lonely it would run over eggs and try it's best to get to me through the incubator and chirp loud!! I stood my ground and was relieved after I turned all the lights off it settled down till this morning

I have a Popcorn! A little white hen. She was hatched under a broody and learned how to roost way up on the tippy top roost with her mama when she was still very young.

Glad your baby finally made it out, @AmandaKyle and that your baby is OK, @frenchiegirl21 and congrats on the adorable pigeon baby, @Lozuufy !!! It's getting hard to keep up with this thread already, lol!! Did anyone check out my possible sex linked EEs a couple pages back? I'd really like another opinion about whether they could be sex linked or not! Isn't hatching just the best? I can't wait for my new babies to hatch and they're still only on Day 2!!! And then we've got the HAL hatch, whoo!! So many babies!!!

Yes it can be! The Orpingtons were like gold laced i think and gorgeous but too expensive for my first hatch or like ever haha

Haha I keep thinking the same! I've never hatched before but I want to plus want tons of breeds so now I have a hatching addiction before ever having hatched!

And ohhhh okay! I just looked up the Isabels, they are gorgeous! I just want all the Orpingtons ever haha same for Wyandottes, Australorps, and Rocks...

Well, sounds like I have your breeds. I've got partridge rocks, speckled Sussex, buff Orpington, black Australorp, wyandottes (Silver)......you can message me if interested....

Nope, never have hatched!! It's okay haha

And wow you really do have like every breed! Haha Partridge Rocks and Wyandottes were the other breeds I wanted to try besides SS

I'm in Virginia, but I am shipping eggs, so that's fine. I love the Partridge Rocks, and the Speckled Sussex especially! Due to less than ideal pen setup, I can really only ship one or two breeds at a time. If you want prices, I'll message them to you.

l thats cute I have seen that when I was young and thought it was amazing the little chick work it's way so high each night just to roost next to mama lol
