The 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!

I'm gone every Easter and hatched least year. I take the last chick out when I leave and I come back within 18 hours usually so they are stuck in the bator for a while but they are fine

Good to know, it is especially helpful knowing someone else has done it, and not just ''theoretically'', because theoretically does not always work out.....

I have herd that some leave the chicks in the incubator for more than two days before removing I know that hatcheries for chicken production have theirs set up to start on Friday and take them out for processing on Monday morning and longer on a long weekend that way they have work on Monday morning and can scedule the next hatch out on the first of the upcoming week

interesting. I never knew that. Thanks.

Kinda late to the party, but I would like to join.

How early can we set our eggs and still count for the Hatch-a-long? I just got 2 sets of shipped eggs in today that are resting after a long trip and a scenic tour of several states.

It's +/- 2 days and still be counted in the HAL count... but no matter what you can be part of it... :)

I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I set 10 Pekin Duck eggs and 6 Red Bourbon Turkey eggs on the 18th.
