Purple egg???

I get dark and light brown, one white and 2 light blue. How do you get a purple????? I want one.

I don't collect eggs during the day. Everyone agrees it purple, but they don't know from which pen it comes. It's one of the chickens that lays in a nesting box, since there has NEVER been a muddy purple egg. It's a reddish purple, but it's NOT brown, I'll go see if we have one in the bucket from today.....

I pulled all clears and early expired today. Of 15 quail I have 9 left and of 60?? Shipped chicken eggs I have 33 that remain with 1 of my own.

Should be interesting.

Try nine more days! Seems like eternity. I set mine on Monday.

55 out of 63 eggs still kicking! And I'm pretty happy with that, considering one incubator is a 5 year old Styrofoam that had three zero percent ''hatches'' and then sat in a dusty old barn for four years.

Now it's day 14 over with working on 15!!!

I just want them to hatch! I saw chicks at the feed store. I reminded myself I had 63 eggs in the incubator, steeled myself and walked out. I'm so proud of myself. Lol

Ha! I'm not that smart. Well, they were Production Reds and Black Sex Links, so they weren't tooo hard to walk away from, but adorable nonetheless.

It's funny, I've had to go to Tractor Supply twice in the past few weeks, and I've brought my daughter with me both times. She is FASCINATED by the ducklings - and I do NOT want ducks, so it's been easy. Plus, they don't have anything unusual there. Those are the ones I like.
