What predictors would get through chicken wire I think the only things we would have are raccoons and the odd fox but both would be nighttime predators no? And that's when she'd be in the coop

weasels can fit through anything a quarter can
bear will rip the siding off a barn if hungry enough(dont ask me why i know this)

We have No weasels or bears so I guess I'll be ok with the chicken wire

Hello, I love your coop.

Raccoon can grab thru chicken wire and rip off heads. They can also tear thru chicken wire given some time.

We have raccoon and fox here - they are not just nocturnal feeders - they can come at any time of day. I've seen a fox at 10 am and 3 pm, likely the come more often than I've seen them. We used to have outside cats and raccoons visited our deck all day and night to steal their food.

They can undo simple hook-and-eye latches and tear through chicken wire as easy as a piece of paper.

I've seen chickens tear apart chicken wire. Trust me, the only way it's going to slow down a raccoon is if it makes it laugh at the attempt first!
