I totally agree with Sourland, I just came to say it too late.  Be very careful about taking in "free" birds unless you have the means and  desire to keep them totally quarantined for a month or longer.   They could be carrying any number of very serious or fatal diseases.  Even when buying from other sources,  quarantine is the way to go. You don't want to lose the lovely birds you already have.

Our coop isn't big enough for anymore birds but it doesn't stop him from looking! But thanks so much for the information I'll keep that in mind when (notice I said when) we get other birds!
