Story #2: Murder of the Mole
Later that day, there weren't too many more gang violence breakouts between the flocks (

). But while the aggressive Red Gang foraged near the front of the garage, Suzy found a mole and killed it! The mole murder disgusted the onlooking human owner/"Chicken Police", but Suzy then went on to peck the dead mole and try to eat it. Other members of the Red Gang tried to steal the rather large mole treat, but Suzy was determined to keep her tasty treasure to herself. She ran around the back of the house, in between the dog kennel and Red Gang Coop, with the dead mole in her beak and the other members of the Red Gang following close behind. Cinnamon tried to give Suzy a good peck on the head to make her give up the mole to her, being the lead hen of the gang, but Suzy was successful in keeping it away. After some effort, she finally tore apart the mole (to the Chicken Police's horror) and swallowed it whole. Cinnamon seemed to be quite mad about this unfairness towards her. She, the lead hen, should have gotten that mole! She meant to give Suzy her best stinkeye and another good peck on the head as a punishment, but Suzy saw it coming and quickly ran over to join Juno in picking through the recently-dumped-out bird seeds (from the Parakeet cage inside the house) in the driveway.
