oh no! I was just happily reading along like I have for probably a week and a half (little bits at a time) when all of a sudden, I realized I was at the end of the thread! I stumbled upon this thread a couple of weeks back and got so enthralled that I have spent as much time as I could (what with homeschooling and running kids everywhere, hasn't been easy!) and now that I'm at the end, I have to wait like everyone else!

I am enjoying this so much! We are new to chickens but have fallen hard for our feathered friends! They are so much fun and Barbara has just brought that much more fun into my world! I look forward to the next installment!

Barbara and Leroy have been holed up keeping warm this past week, so the opportunity for adventure has been very limited. There have been a few new developments in the rest of the flock, so I will try and get that written up and posted in the next day or so.

I hope everyone is staying warm where it is cold, and staying cool where it is warm, and enjoying the Christmas preparations. I have another batch of soda cracker toffee candy to make because we ate too much of the first batch and now don't have enough! Luckily, the chickies are satisfied with bread and food scraps and have not developed a taste for chocolate!
