yes i saw the pic and didn't know she was yours!!
so my dilemma now is, do i make a separate pen for Barb2 and the silky, who i am thinking is a boy??? will it break their hearts to be separated??


i sure hope you find the murderer and bring justice to the flock!

THank you for another beautiful story! Been looking forward to another "Barbara Adventure" It sounds like the frizzie is giving Barbara a run for her money! What a perfect little frizzle family and sweet gentle babysitters! They will be well rounded chicks when they join the "big chick" pen! How's the old saying go, "It takes a village to raise a child" Well it takes the flock to raise the chicks! Good boys!

I am so upset and didn't know who else to turn to. I came home to find an entire pen full of my chickens dead. This pen had all my original most special of special chickens in it and some of my breeders. I think my daughter left the door unlatched while helping collect eggs. My husbands soon to be "GONE" dog killed all but 1. I feel that my heart has been ripped from my chest and stomped on. I am grateful that one girl survived. My sweet minorca Oprah. Rest in peace Milly, Dalila, Ginger, Dot, Dots pretty sister, Max the roo, and two other girls that had not been named yet.

Oh, I am so sorry, Jamie. I'm glad one survived, but the awful devastation! Find Oprah some buddies soon; only time will heal this hurt.
