The adventures of chubnut! update, I think he is paralyzed

alright help me guess what I am. I thought I might have been a starling, but now mom has her doubts. This morning she noticed some light, almost white feathers on my underbelly...my beak is long not hummingbird long but long.

I guess the mystery continues.

I believe it is a starling chick. They have those big Bozo clown lips. You should keep it for a pet, as starlings are NOT protected and are actually very destructive to native species.

Starlings do make great pets. They are related to Myna birds and can learn to talk really well.

well here I am Mom has had me 3 whole days! I love eating, and I have started crawling around the nest.
Iget so excitedat feeding that I shake. Patrick says I'm fat. Mom argued that I was just growing into my body.
Tomorrow is this thing called a chicken swap here in Florida. Mom is taking me as she said it would be hard to feed me all the time if she is there. I'm excited, can't you tell. Here is some new pics of me, one to show my new feathersm and one to show my underbelly and the colors there, any guesses?

How is your little guy today? The one I found I believe is a starling he is eating like a little pig and has grown so much in just the few days I have had him. Didnt have the gamebird starter so mine is on cat food and boiled egg yolk seems to be working and he loves it. I hope your little guy continues to do well please do keep us updated.

Sorry I haven't been on. Mom is sooooooooo busy with the kids home for the summer, and all the other critters. A bunch of chicken babies hatched. She put an injured one in with me to protect it. I was scared silly and couldn't get far enough away, so she moved him out.
Mom also has a baby pig, taking away my attention. I resent her.
Anyway here are some new pics. I have grown into my mouth, and am quite cute.
I went to my first swap and loved the attention.
