this our first batch of white Chinese babies. They just love the water but it had to be dumped and refilled every day.

We have 20 new and 4 old Chinese. And they are 2 distinct groups. The only time they'e tto gather is at night.

Ok my African brown just laid her first egg today so happy she is 10 months old . Went out this morning did a head count there were 9 instead of 10 I panic then saw a head peeking out of the wood pile sure enough she was on a nest. Not sure who the father is i have another african buff a pair and som americans. I

Thanks I waited till she got off the nest and looked when I walked away she went over and looked I guess to see if I took it, funny. I wonder if the other girl will lay there too. the American girls are only 8 months old I hope they wait till it is better weather. it worries me for them to lay now are winter is not over yet I wish it was .

As long as your taking the eggs up it shouldn't matter if it's still cold. Maybe put a few inside their house so they get encouraged to lay inside.

Won't be long now till warmer weather. My American started laying at 9months.
