The African and Chinese goose thread!!

I try get a pic of him !
He looks just like the normal africans from metzers and hes only 10 months old

This picture is one of my favorites for comparison purposes. Both are ganders hatched on same day and they are six months old in this pic. One came from metzer stock. The other came from Holderread stock. As you can see, my Holderread African has a well defined dewlap, not too large bump, thicker neck, and bigger body.

Iain that African gander on the right looks just like one of my African ganders ! And haha how can metzers say that the gander one the left is a normal African it looks just like a chinese haha

Pics of rescue goose.

Can anyone confirm this is a goose and not a gander. I want to get it a mate and have no idea how to tell the gender in geese.

Thank you. I thought it might be, but was told it was a goose. It doesn't matter either way as I only have the one at the present time. Now to find him a girl. Does it need to be the sane breed or just a goose. I don't plan on breeding them as some of the info I read said angel wing could be genetic. Although I was told this was done intentionally to this poor bird. Does it need any special care?
