if she is off the nest, or at dark, you can candle a few eggs with a bright flashlight to look for red blood veins. Some geese will hoard gobs of eggs, and once she has too many, none will hatch. I have a young embden goose laying still, but not hatching any until spring so I am just taking eggs. Our winters are just too cold to let her raise goslings now. I am really shocked she is laying.

ill have to try that an see what I got its been in the at night here but warm in the day time today was about 80 so that might be y she does spend alto of time off the nest so I don't k own that they are staying warm snuff even if they were lol

hello all my lil Chinese girl is still laying eggs she just layed 6 more is it normal its been cold an raining the last 2 weeks freezeing at night I want to take them but I don't want to upset her if her nest goes empty all the sudden what do I do help plz am I just being a weirdo will she be ok if I take them

She wont like it, but it wont hurt her to take them. What season are you in right now? We are in winter here, and all of mine have finally stopped laying.

Leave one in nest and if she is a yearling then she won't mind.

we are very well in to winter here its been at most 65 ish in the day but down in the low 40s mid 30s at night an shes just layin like crazy
