I only have 2 geese hoping to have a few baby's here in the next week so safe guard for hourse ? An is it by weight ? I can get it at a feed store

It comes in a large syringe that you would put int the horses mouth then press the plunger but I just press the plunger for correct amount. I'll get you the info.

What I do is press out what I need and put it into a small needle less syringe open bill with goose between my legs and knees holding put syringe inside bill and slowly squeeze out wormer into the mouth. You maybe able to put it on bread and give it that way too. depends on if your geese like bread 2 of mine would kill for some the other 2 could care less.

Ok all I'm having a big issue my ill girl is piping eggs out like its cool i have 5 from Dec I left her I thought they may be fetal she now has 20 eggs in the nest she's doing good sitting on them but the other night my hubby made me a candler so I took a look in still new to this an all the pic an videos in still lost they have been busy baby making lol so I don't want to taken away if they have baby's in them i don't have a incubator an im not confident to try an hatch myself the info on it scares me what should I do do i leave all the eggs inseams if I take even 1 or 2 she lays more! Help plz

you need to candle and mark the eggs that are developing then candle every 3-4 days and take out any that aren't so your goose isn't having to try and cover so many you'll have a better hatch if it's a smaller clutch.

I have 1 brown African female and 1 white Chinese male. They will be a year old in May. Yesterday,my girl laid her first egg. I thought it was a bit early,I could be wrong. I know the breeds are distantly related and was wondering what the offspring would look like if the eggs are fertile?

Well if it is pure Brown African the babies will be brown with white spots (usually on the belly or wing feathers or they can be white with brown patches of brown feathers and the females get a Dewlap and males don't if your female is a pure African

They will be gorgeous for sure. All will have some "brown" I have seen this with my flock here. Most goose will start to lay at 8 months so she is right on cue. Here is what they will look like:

Possibly more white. I keep white and brown chinese.
My "african" are truly a chinese/african cross from Meyer. Some do develop a dewlap but its rare. True african will have a dewlap.

Both of them don't have dewlaps. These are the only good pictures of them I have right now,I will get more.

My Chinese gander is aggressive, and has hurt me many times. I know he is supposed to be aggressive, but is there a way to calm him down? We don't bother the girl, who is African, and that is usually why he gets that way. I don't provoke him, but he tries to bite and flog me anyway.
