The African and Chinese goose thread!!

If something has hair and goes in the run here the geese beat the heck out of it. Especially cats!
 
Mine were brooded with a batch of kittens and loved them. Then when they matured they started attacking anything that got to close to the ducks and them. Its funny they always have themselves between us and the ducks.
 
Mine are ok with cats but only THEIR cat! if I trap a raccoon or possum, wow! They storm at the trap, hissing and flogging. Same with a cat they don't know. Learned early on to move the trap before I let the geese out. I have a friend that takes stray cats, has them spayed and releases them on his farm. He is far enough off the road to do this safely tho.

My geese seem to hate chickens far more than cats. Wow, I wish there was someone like that in Minnesota, I could donate a lot of cats!
