Well, Charlotte is now Charlie.
Vent checking was easier than I thought it would be. Just followed the instructions in the Holderrand book. The nice drawings in the book were very helpful.
His aggression has been escallating and the bump on the chest with my foot has had to be done more frequently. Will definitely have to practice pinning tomorrow.
I'm glad it isnt as complicated as I'm probably imagining it to be. Did Charlie & Ninya cooperate? Also, dont forget to "open your wings" after bumping Charlie. I find that it helps. We have to pin Nine (gander) on the ground occassionally, until he calms down.
Our male/females must be opposite how they 'should' be. Sarah is smaller, more aggressive and quieter. Chuck is larger, less aggressive and much louder. It's Sarah that attacks little kids or animals it doesn't like. It's Sarah that bosses the ducks around- Not Chuck. BUT if the ducks are mating it annoys Chuck to no end. He will yank the drake off the duck and chase them away. We call them them Geese Police. LOL
We still love them. They look kinda like swans on the pond with no dewlap. Oh well!
