The All Night Diners

I've been suffering from insomnia, and can't believe that no one else is too.
So I'm starting a thread for all the poor people that just can't shut down their brain.
@BantyChooks, don't look. It's too late at night to think about grammar, punctuation and spelling.

The first thing keeping me awake. I cut my hair today, well, actually yesterday, and I can't find it. I had just taken the trash out the night before, so all the cans are pretty empty. But, no hair. I take that back. I found the hairballs from picking out my brush.
So, who stole my hair? Am I going to wake to find the hair fairy has left me a new scrunchie?

The next thing keeping me awake!! I cannot remember when to use a colon versus a semicolon for the life of me!! I know that, "John 3:16" and "The score was 8:10" but the rest is lost.
One thing I never understood in school was pronouns. I knew everything else, but they were not covered before I moved to a new place, and took a test. I flunked the test, and we never cover it in that school. I finally understood years later while playing mad Libs. Unfortunately, I have forgotten again!

Speaking of grammar ( I told you my brain won't shut down!!), I keep forgetting the rules for layed/laid without using a cheat. My cheat is buried somewhere in my phone's photo album. I don't find it often.
The saddest thing about this, is that we should all know the rule on this site.

I just realized that despite taking off the "S" at the end of "diner" repeatedly, it is still there. Why autocorrect? Why?

My mutt rooster is annoying.
Why haven't I killed the other ones yet?

When will the ducks lay again?
Why do bad people get away with so much?
Why is my rooster so LOUD?!
