The All Night Diners

I took 2 sleep aid, Benadryl like pills. Quite a while ago. Now i took a muscle relaxer. Hopefully that will help my back and make me sleepy. Of course, the pills expired in 2003 so they might not do anything. But unlikely. Sure wish i could have a hot bath. That would do it for sure. Maybe i will go get a shower.

:hugs Poor thing! You and the pup.
I never expected to fall asleep at nine! I would have said goodnight!
I had a crazy dream. Well, dreams. But I stumbled into a country club, and it wasn't a friendly one! It's funny how I fit in there in my youth. My life has certainly changed!
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with myself until it's light enough to work on a new run.
This past February, my run blew down. Yada yada, there wasn't a point in rebuilding until now.

As I was staring at my new run frame, it occurred to me that it's a good goat pen. Of course, it's also the size of one of the pens inside.
I keep thinking I should have made it 12 x 12. However, this is only supposed to be for the winter. I will see where my life is after that.

I just bathed the dog. You know? Because that's what people do at this time of night.
I'm fighting myself to not go fix the kitchen faucet tonight. :D
Husband was just saying the shepherd is starting to smell. Lord , he smells every little thing. I don't flush the toilet if i pee at night, i just flush it in the morning. He said my room smelled pissy! How could he possibly smell that??? He must be part bloodhound. I may have to start locking my door, lol.
I don't know how i am ever going to wash this dog, we have no tub and the water pressure is terrible. Maybe i will get her some perfume!
He is getting on my nerves. He does not like me to sleep in, even if i am sick. I am beginning to think he is jealous. He always wakes up early. If you can't sleep in when you are retired and sick, just forget it. Kill me already!
So i guess i ought to take some pills so i can get up early and go buy building materials.
Have a great nights sleep!

Dry shampoo. It smells okay (might smell good to you. It smells okay to me when using it on a male dog), and you just brush the dog, or rub it with a towel to remove dirt from the skin. Walmart caters to the pampered pooch. Unfortunately, it's all pink/girly stuff. Still works!
When I was in the big truck with my husband, the dry shampoo and the moist wipes (Sturgis has a long coat, but they worked for paws and dirty bums!) were a godsend.

Duh, i knew about dry shampoo but never used it. I really wanted to wash her because there are still a few fleas around. But if the smell improves, i guess that is half the battle. Guess i should try to sleep. Good night.
