Chickens are supposed to be my hobby. I don’t seem to have time. I stopped reading books (you’re a mother. Who has time?).
LOL! I used to rearrange furniture. Duckling now tells me when it’s time. Alas, I can’t move the big stuff anymore.

I am a mother but my boys are grown.i can read at night. How many chickens do you have?

Still awake, it is too hot in here. Hubby fed the fire all evening and the hot air comes up here. I have a fan on! Here is my bed quilt.

The cats would not calm down. I need to get him snipped. I finally got up and gave them a can of cat food, the brats!

So $74 to get the kitty snipped. A good investment to head off spraying before it happens!

Stripped the rest of the meat off the turkey and tossed the bones. Now i have a pot of broth with turkey and a bit of left over chicken. Tomorrow i will add pumpkin and cook it up for the chickens.
Shopping tomorrow, i need the rest. I have dug 4 mule loads of soil in the last couple of days! Hope your day went well.

I wish I had more stock. Broth is okay, but stock is better.
