I'd never have thought icecream could be so hazardous! I'm glad it wasn't too serious. Everybody on the mend, doctors orders!

When I was making the crumble topping, I pinched the topping fresh from the oven with my left hand. Basically, hot grease.
Then I was making caramel. When I was whisking the butter into the liquid sugar, a glob flew out, and landed on my right hand.

Ow! Caramel sticks. All you can really do is run it under cold water for a while but when it's done it's done. Still stings like billyoh.

Hubby and i seem to be having a contest. First i had ones of the doors for the brooder fall on my head and give me a lump, then hubby tops it by dropping a log on his leg. Huge swelling!

I just saw a commercial for internet. I called, and they said they don’t have those packages anymore. Old packages began at $50, new ones begin at $100

It's like when they say 'prices from'. The 'from' price never has what you need so you always have to go for the more expensive one.
