Breed: Araucana
Name: Lucy
Age: 8 Months
Gender: Female
Fun Facts: She went broody 4 days after we got her on infertile eggs. She wouldn't break so i gave her 4 buff orp eggs. When the first one hatched she took the youngster and left the other 3 unhatched eggs behind. Since then,2 weeks ago, she is still broody and sits on Ethels' infertile eggs. I took Ethels' eggs away so she then insited on settin on a fake egg that was in the nest box. She is STILL broody but i won't let her have any eggs. But she aint layin any of her own !!!

Thank you! We think he's gorgeous. Luckily he doesn't know it yet!

I'll try to add another picture of him now since he's changing so much now and keeps getting prettier! He was the friendliest chick in the group and would fly to the edge of the big pen and let me pick him up.

Breed: EE
Name(s): Frenchie
Age: About 2 yrs
Gender: Roo
Fun Facts: Only chicken to take a bath in our kitchen sink. He was a muddy, limp mess after our Tom Turkey tried to kill him. Hubby picked him up, rinsed him off, and put him in a dog crate in our bathroom. After a few mornings of crowing at 3 a.m. we knew he would be okay. We shampooed him with a little baby shampoo, dried him off, and he rejoined his ladies in a few days.

Fun Facts:We bought her by accident, thinking she was a Rhode Island Red chick, but once she got feathers and cheeks we realized she was something else. After researching a bit we realized she was an EE, yay!

Just wondering, does anyone know what her color pattern is called?
