I saw these two as well. Both are in northern Idaho. I'm in the southern part. 45 min from Nevada border. I will definitely keep them in mind. It's a beautiful drive.
Ahh, you might be just as close to me then haha! I’m in Sacramento! I’m hopefully going to have true Black Ameraucanas next spring! I have my lavender rooster and a blue, black, and splash hens 😍 I also now have a breeding pair of bantam Wheaton Ameraucanas 😁 That drive north is super pretty though! To Sac…not so much! 😆

I have a couple Ameraucana’s but I only was able to get a pic of my cockerel this morning.

Edit: they are 8 weeks old

So, I just got a call back from the hatchery, they confirmed he is a boy. Pheadra is now Fred or....taking suggestions.
I got up early and opened the window...yep he crowed several times. It wasn't loud though. not a peep during the rest of the day. We'll see.

Well definitely a boy, my boy is really quiet, he will sometimes goes days without a single crow and when he does it's only a few in the morning and *possibly* a few in afternoon. Hopefully you boy will be like that
